The lightweight fabric is ideal for young tender root systems. The propagation grow bags fit nicely into trays. These grow bags work great for shift-ups as young plants can be planted directly into the next shift-up size pot. The fabric will degrade in 12-18 months once the soil is on both sides of the fabric.
How are the Thin Black Root Pouch Fabric Pots Made?
Root Pouch Grow Bags are made of PET derived from recycled plastic water bottles. This material is melted back to a sterile liquid state then spun into fibers. Because the plastic is re-melted, it is once again sterile making it a great choice for growing plants for human consumption. Root Pouch does not use any petroleum in any of its products. As such, Root Pouch plant pots do not contain any toxins and are BPA-free and UV resistant.
